On Friday, March 21, 2025, we, students from the Untag Surabaya Architecture Engineering Study Program, visited the office of the consultant PT. Jatim Mustika Sarana Steel with the aim of observing or interviewing with the theme "Observation of the Use of English in the World of Architecture Work".

Observation :

1. What is the role of English in the world of architects and contractors?
2. How important is English in presentations to clients from abroad?
3. Has English ever been an issue in the design process or communicating to corporate clients?

Interview Result :

1. English is the dominant language in international architecture firms, construction companies, and engineering consultancies, many architects and contractors work on projects that involve multinational teams, making English the common language for collaboration.
2. For architects and contractors working with international clients, English is essential for presentations, proposals, and client meetings, marketing architectural services through websites, portfolios, and social media is more effective in English due to its global reach.
3. Most architectural standards, construction codes, and engineering guidelines are published in English or have English translations
